Mon, 24 July 2006 15.8 MB / 23 min. The first in a four part series chronicling a weekend camping trip to Cheeha State Park here in Alabama. I made several recordings over the two days, and decided to present them in reverse order. Memento-style, if you will. So every time you hear the harp flashback sound, we are going back in time. Also, I have done minimal editing and not included sound clips as usual to keep the experience as natural, or organic, as possible. As a result, these episodes are not the fast-paced TOA you have become accustomed to, so I might suggest whittling or stacking cordwood whilst listening to pass the time. Wed, 19 July 2006 24 MB / 34 min. Recording on a Saturday morning, I try to get some work done in the yard and speak coherently at the same time. Not an easy thing to do, in fact, I have no idea what to write here in the show notes. Something about micropiping? Intro by JV of No 1’s Listening.
On a different note, no pun intended, I would like to extend a special thanks to those of you who have taken the time to write reviews on iTunes and/or Yahoo and add TOA to your favorites at the Podcast Pickle. It was debated whether or not to even ask – the Bigwigs wanted me to devote airtime to it, but I refused – so we compromised with an appeal in the show notes. The hope, of course, is to increase the profile of the show and attract more listeners. After all, the Obtuse Angle Corporation desires what every good corporation desires. Profitable growth. Anyway, thanks for your support and have a day.

Mon, 10 July 2006 18.6 MB / 27 min. After a trippy trip to the dentist I wander around in a nitrous-induced stupor and talk utter nonsense for a while.
